Get to know the creators of Skinology Medical Spa
Jenn Kucifer, APRN-BC, FNP-C
Jenn graduated with her Registered Nursing degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with 4 children under the age of 5 after deciding to change careers midway through her life. She spent her early nursing years in high acuity hospital ICU care and hospice and the later years in oncology. Jenn and her family moved to Utah in the fall of 2016, and she went on to earn her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021. Jenn has earned many awards and certifications throughout her years of nursing including being dual certified by both nurse practitioner governing boards the AANP & the ANCC, ACLS, PALS, Nurse Excellence, Daisy Award winner, Chemotherapy Certification and PICC line certification.
Krista Johnson, Registered Nurse
KristaI graduated with her Registered Nursing degree in 1999 from College of Eastern Utah in Price, Utah. She started working as a labor and delivery/nursery nurse in 2000. In 2017, she transferred to the oncology/IV therapy unit. She earned her chemo therapy and PICC line certification and worked as a member of the PICC Line team. She continued to work continuously throughout the Covid pandemic. It was during this time in 2020 that she and Jenn Kucifer decided to get their certifications in botox and fillers from the National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. In the Pheonix airport, while waiting for their plane ride back to Utah….the idea for Skinology was born. And as they say, the rest is history.
